Top Gun Golf Results
Boosted by a coffee and a bacon roll, 16 brave Topgunners braved the wintry elements at the Weald of Kent golf course. A very slow day’s golf ensued as all of the wealds willing golfers descended on the seemingly only course open in Kent. The snow threatened to cancel the match on the back 9, but stayed away long enough for all 16 to come back with all appendages intact.
The winner on the day was Glen, who brought his brilliance to the course, but it counted for nothing in Topgun terms, as he is not taking part this year. Mark Wilson came away with maximum points.
The most impressive shot of the day was Jez’s (un)intentional bounce off the frozen lake on the 16th hole, for a birdy putt. Which he missed.
Due to snow, we will try to cram two events into December. The next event will be topgun bowling.
